Jett's Page
L2-HGA & HC CLEAR
Jett was our introduction to the show ring and he certainly did us proud. He gained his New Zealand title at 14 months old on the 13th of May 2007 and went on to gain his Australian title in 4 months on the 3rd of May 2008. Jett is an all rounder and has excelled at both All Breeds & Specialist shows. Please enjoy some of Jett's photo's and critiques from both New Zealand and Australia Northern New South Wales Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club (14 September 2008) 5th Open Dog (15 Entered) Judge Mr Tony Brindley (Cabrindle, UK)

- Critique - Dog I have written about else where. Good head, round eye which in this venue I must say looked a little light. Well balanced weight of bone, nice rib, well bent stifle. Do not like his front needs better shoulders. He was very fit looked lighter in weight than when I judged him in Australia actually. Moved O.K.
Southern Cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society (22 June 2008) 1st Intermediate Dog Judge Mrs Betty Smith (Cossacks, UK)
- Critique - Well presented black brindle. Clean, well proportioned head, well placed rose ears which gave pleasing expression, eye a little lighter than I remembered. Good front, well sprung rib, short coupled. Excellent movement, handled well. Did not have the presence today. Perhaps indoor showing does not suit him as well as outdoor showing Ipswich Kennel Club (8 June 2008) Dog Challenge & Best/Open Of Breed Judge Mrs Betty Smith (Cossacks, UK)
- Critique - Head of correct proportions, nice expression, neat, expressive, well set, rose ears, correct eye placement. Nice clean lines, compact and well put together. Good front and correct turn out of pastern. Well sprung rib, short coupling, strong quarters. Moved exceptionally well behind which gave him the edge when competing for BOB. The Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club Of Queensland (7 June 2008) Reserve Dog Challenge & Best Opposite Open In Show Judge Mrs Clare Lee (Constones, UK)
- Critique - Good head on this black brindle dog. Short overall, fair stop, good depth of skull. Well placed neat ears which are such a help in creating the correct expression. Short coupled body, well boned front good spring of rib. I would prefer tighter shoulders. Well developed hind quarters, moved O.K. Southern Cross Staffordshire Bull Terrier Society (22 September 2007) 3rd New Zealand Bred Dog Judge Mrs Jodie Sing (Cherabah, Australia) - Critique - B/Brindle dog. Nice head shape, short muzzle with correct bite. Lighter in eye, neat rose ears. Front not his virtue. Heavier than 1st and 2nd. A lot of Stafford. Good hindquarters and tail set. Shown and handled expertly. Black brindle with excellent head, that is well balanced for overall strength- deep dome, strong foreface, nicely developing cheek muscles-neat ears, well defined stop. Good front, feet could tighten up with roadwork. Good hindquarters. Lacked overall maturity of winner. Contact Details: Email: |
